The All Saints Fair of Cocentaina has closed its 673 edition with a very positive balance in terms of organization, economic impact and number of visitors. On November 1, the day of the inauguration, around 177.500 visitors passed through Cocentaina, a figure slightly higher than last year, which was about 160.000 people.
The mayor of Cocentaina, Mireia Estepa, has considered it a “spectacular” edition, since “time has accompanied us, we have not had to regret any incident, and security has worked perfectly”. In addition, he said that "many of the merchants have given us their feeling of having improved sales compared to last year."
On the other hand, it is necessary to highlight from this edition the political recognition that the Fira has received with the presence of the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities in charge, Pedro Duque, the President of the Valencian Generalitat, Ximo Puig, or the President of the Cortes Valencianas, Enric Morera, among many other personalities. In addition, the institutions have pledged to improve the financing of the Fira for the coming years.
This Monday first thing in the morning begins the dismantling from the Country Valencià avenue into the urban center, and it is expected that on Tuesday it can circulate normally throughout the population.
